Current Production Missions:

Colombia:

Over 10,000 face shields are required by health centers in Boyacá, Colombia. These will protect health workers and ensure they are healthy and available to treat patients.

Producing:

Face shields. If unable to produce an entire face shield (transparent sheet, visor band) we ask if you can produce visors. These can be shipped to Colombia where they have laser cutters to produce transparent sheets.

Delivery:

We aim to send the batch by Wednesday 20th May. From 17-19th we will organize collection points for you to drop of the equipment. You pack the printed parts in a box and deliver them to the drop point we assign to you. These will then be delivered to the shipment point.

Reimbursement:

Our contacts in Colombia will pay for shipping and transport.

We ask if you are able to donate some face shields. However, whenever possible our aim is to reimburse you. Either through purchasing filament to replace what you used or reimbursing receipts.

Therefore please keep track of what you purchase/filament you use for this project.

Pictures/Messages:

When packing the parts you printed in the box we encourage you to write a message or include a picture of you for the health worker receiving the parts. We will encourage them to take pictures with your parts so you can see where they ended up!

If you send us any pictures of you printing the parts we can upload them to our social media. If you have a 3D printing business send us a link to your page and we will share it.
