EWBeyond

hosted by Engineers Without Borders UofT

This series of six workshops provides the unique opportunity to create a solution to a real-world problem based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

EWBeyond is a three month-long program that focuses on providing students with the skills necessary to strive for change in social issues they are passionate about. Thought-provoking workshops, guest speakers, and hands-on projects in the community will allow students to develop an understanding for issues that are prominent in our world today.

Students will learn relevant communication, management, and critical thinking skills that are essential in becoming effective leaders. Throughout the program, participants will work in teams to create and execute their own initiatives to incite change based on case studies related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, guided by mentors from the University of Toronto.

Students will have the opportunity to display their work during a showcase in March. The showcase doubles as a networking opportunity, since many faculty, alumni and existing students are invited to the event!
