The Issue
Less than half the community do not have direct access to clean potable water
Health issues due to contaminated water

1 spring source and 1 well source that serves only half of the community
The spring source is contaminated from farm run-offs and fecal deposition
The goal
Increase access to clean water via a new 3rd well and unify the water distribution network within the community (collaboration with University of Kentucky)

It was found that the new well can feed the needs of the entire community by itself. The team moved forward with dsconnecting the contaminated spring source.
