Mrs. Baum

Good Day! My name is Mrs. Baum and I'm happy to meet you! I have had the pleasure to work at EVE in fourth grade for 4 years with Mrs. Burger, Mrs. Davis and Mrs. Knautz! I LOVE being a Jaguar and I LOVE EVE!! We are so excited to meet you!

I am married to Jason Baum and we have two daughters. Shelby is 21 years old and goes to college in Spokane and Morgan is 19 years old and attends EWU. Both gals are going into the medical field. We also have a 2 year old yellow lab name Nora! I love walking, hiking, gardening and teaching!

Mrs. Burger

Hello! I am Mrs. Burger and I am so excited for this year! We are all starting this year in a way we have never done before and it will be an adventure for sure.

Just to introduce myself... I have been teaching for 20 years and 15 of those years have been here at EVE. (Fun fact: Mrs. Knautz and I have been friends since the 3rd grade. That's a long time!) I love being a jaguar! Fourth grade is the best and we will learn a lot of fun things together.

I have been married for 16 years to my husband, Chuck. We have 3 very spunky girls ; Aynslee is 8, Kynlee will be 4, and Charlee is almost 2. They keep us very busy when we are teaching (my husband is a high school teacher in Selah). We have 2 dogs, 2 cat, and lots of chickens. I love being outside with my girls, running in the morning, volleyball, reading, teaching math, and learning new things.

Hello Jaguars!

I am so excited to get our year started and I can't wait to meet you.

I have been a part of the East Valley Community for many years. This will by my 37th year teaching. 26 of those years have been in 4th grade!

I am blessed to work everyday with an amazing team of ladies. I know you will enjoy learning from Mrs. Burger, Mrs. Knautz and Mrs. Baum as much as I do.

My husband, Randy Davis, is also an East Valley teacher at EVC. We have been married 36 years. Both of my children (Justin and Kayla) are graduates of East Valley High School. Besides my wonderful children I also have 4 AMAZING grandchildren. My grandsons attend school in Wenatchee. Corbin is an 8th grader this year, Tristan is in 7th grade and Justin is just like you, he is in 4th grade. My granddaughter Scarlett is 3 and will begin preschool this year.

We are going to have a great year together!!

Mrs. Knautz

Hi! I am April Knautz and I'm so excited to work with you and your kids this year! As we move ahead into this unique school year, I can't wait to see the amazing learning that will happen everyday!

I grew up in the Yakima Valley and love everything about this fantastic place! This will be my 19th year teaching at EVE in 4th grade. I love being a Jaguar and collaborating with these amazing teachers!

I have been married to my husband, Brent, for 20 years this September. We have 2 awesome kids. Carson is a sophomore at EVHS and Emily is an 8th grader at EVC. We 💗our incredible East Valley community!!

I am also a mom to 5 fur babies! As your kids get to know me, they will find out I LOVE animals!! We have 4 dogs and a cat. Lewis, Clark, Bear, Katie and Lyla are often part of my writing stories.

I can't wait to partner with you to make this an OUTSTANDING school year!!
