Bus Transportation

Enrolling in Bus Transportation

Due to the risk of Covid-19, the EVSC is taking measures to make school buses as safe as possible. This includes requiring all students to wear masks and limiting the number of students to a maximum of two per seat. This will lead to a reduced capacity and will limit our ability to provide transportation as we have done in the past. Because of this, we are requiring families to enroll in bus transportation in order for your child to ride the school bu

Transportation Guidelines

  • All students that ride the bus will be required to wear a mask. Please review this with your student prior to the start of school.

  • Social Distancing on the bus cannot be maintained. If you are not comfortable with this, you may want to consider transporting your student.

  • Because social distancing will be difficult to achieve on school buses, we are encouraging parents to provide their own transportation if they are able. This will reduce the number of bus riders on each bus.

  • The maximum number of students in a seat will be restricted to two per seat.

  • Family members will sit together.

  • Students will be assigned seats and they will be required to sit in the same seat for the morning and afternoon run.

  • EVSC bus drivers also will be given masks and a face shield and drivers will disinfect high touch areas between runs.
