Only essential visitors (for example: student teachers) will be allowed into the school to reduce the likelihood of someone bringing Covid-19 into the building.
If parents need to drop off supplies, medicine, lunch, etc, we ask that you enter through Door 1. The door labeled "Enter here" is the one that will be unlocked. There will be a table in the main entryway where parents can leave any forgotten items. Items should be labeled with the student's name. Parents may alert the secretary at the window, and she will call the student to retrieve the item after the parent has left.
Parents will not be buzzed through the second door unless they have scheduled a meeting. If parents need to speak to a teacher, counselor, administrator or other staff member, a meeting needs to be scheduled in advance by calling the office at 812-867-6426. Use of phone or video conferencing will be encouraged.
Until further notice, visitors will not be allowed to eat lunch with students or provide volunteer services at the school due to concerns of exposure to Covid-19.
