My name is Brett Jones and I have taught Physical Education for 12 years in the EVSC.  I am a USI graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology.  Licensed in P.E. for grades K-12 and Health & Safety for grades 6-12.  I also hold a broadcasting degree from USI as well.  Teaching kids about the value of daily movement and being life long movers is my goal in teaching.

About Me: My life is my wife and 2 boys.  Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a huge Elvis Presley, Eric Church and Kobe Bryant fan.  I've always been drawn to Music, Sports and Movies which allow us to gather as people and forget our differences.  I love going to concerts, playing basketball, golfing, listening to vinyl records and being with family and friends.  I also work for Behind the Wheel Driving Academy and run my own DJ business.

Kids need 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous movement daily.  Better movers make better learners, regulate emotions, and improve your physical and mental health.

If you asked adults today, about their memories of grade school.  Many of them would have fond memories of recess and/or P.E. class.  A vast majority of elementary school students would list physical education as their favorite class.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION is more than games, it's a start to a healthy life.  P.E. is the one thing we have to offer that no other subject matter has, which is the development of the body.
