Where Home, Hospitality, and Heritage Meet
Welcome to the heart and home of Ellah-Roo's. If you have ever felt overwhelmed by the daily rush of getting meals on the table, or if you are simply searching for a way to slow down and make your home a true sanctuary, you are in the right place.
More than anything, Ellah-Roo's is a reflection of the things I hold most dear: my faith, my deep love for my church, and the precious family that inspires me every single day. As a proud wife, mom, and grandma, I know firsthand that the sweetest parts of life happen around the people we love. Everything we do here—from our shelf-stable dry recipe mixes and cozy seasonal guides to our podcast—is rooted in a heart for home, hearth, and old-fashioned hospitality.
How Ellah-Roo's Got Its Name
People often ask where the name Ellah-Roo's comes from, and it is truly a celebration of family. The name is a special mashup honoring my daughter, my daughter-in-law, and my first sweet grandbaby. It is a daily reminder of the legacy we are building together and the generations of family gathered around the table. That sense of connection and warmth is baked into every single thing we create.
From the Classroom to the Kitchen Table
Before founding Ellah-Roo's, my life was spent in a classroom, serving as a school teacher for over 16 years. Teaching taught me patience, organization, and how to break down big, complex tasks into simple, joyful steps.
When I transitioned into the cottage food industry—crafting artisan bakes, decorating cookies, and eventually developing our signature dry recipe mixes—I brought that exact teaching heart right into the kitchen. My goal has always been to take the stress, guesswork, and fatigue out of cooking, baking, hosting, and to empower you to create delicious, memorable moments for your own family and freinds without spending all day tied to the stove.
Stewardship, Sanctuary and Hospitality
Ellah-Roo's isn't just a brand—it's a community of kindred spirits who believe that the best memories are made around a shared table. Whether you are tuning into the Everyday Holiday Home podcast, browsing our latest seasonal guides, or stocking your pantry with our dry mixes, I am so grateful to share this journey with you.
Pull up a chair, make yourself comfortable, and let's make your everyday moments a little sweeter.
