Do you know what it means to be resilient?
Basically, it means that when you come up against something difficult, you don't give up completely. You might have to pause and re-think your plan, but resilience means that you find a way to keep moving forward.
Whether that's moving yourself from a bad mood to a good one, or trying to cope with big, painful things, like a divorce or death in your family, resilient people keep going...and going...and going.
Things might not turn out the way you wanted them to, but if you're resilient, you find your way to happiness no matter what. Every successful person you know, from your family and friends, to celebrities, singers, athletes, teachers and coaches....all of them have resilience!
This video is a good way of thinking about resilience.
