Mission:

The mission of Pacific Middle School’s counseling department is to support students in becoming empathetic, respectful, productive, global citizens who advocate for and empower themselves and others. Counselors will aid in developing an equitable, safe, and nurturing school environment where all students have access to a data-driven, culturally responsive, evidence-based comprehensive school counseling program. Through collaboration with students, families, school staff, and key stakeholders, counselors will advocate for equity and access for the diverse needs of all learners. In highlighting student strengths and creating opportunities for development of critical thinking and self-advocacy skills, counselors will empower students to reach their academic, social/emotional, and post-secondary goals.
