....because this is tough stuff and it's okay to not know what to do.


  • Give yourself a break from the news and social media.

  • Take a 10 minute walk. Get up and give yourself a break from what ever it is you're doing.

  • Keep your regular sleep schedule.

  • Positive affirmations..."hey, Alexa, in 1 hour reminder me that I'm amazing."

  • Organize (I know I'm not the only one out there that find this gratifying...)

  • Take a bath or shower.

  • Facetime a friend.

  • Listen to an audiobook.

  • Cuddle your pet.

  • Schedule in your self-care time.

  • Color...it's fun.

  • Laugh.
