Summer 2026 Meal Service: No Cost Meals Available in EPS for Community Children

EPS Community,

We’re pleased to announce that Evergreen Public Schools will offer children meals at no cost during the summer. Children ages 1 to 18, regardless of if they attend an EPS school, are eligible to receive one breakfast and one lunch per day when meal sites are open. 

This program is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) under its Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). Under USDA rules, meals are intended to be consumed on site. USDA does not allow grab-and-go options at this time.

Please note that all sites will be closed on Friday, July 3 in observance of Independence Day. The Heritage site will be closed Friday July 24 and Friday July 31.

Meet the School Counselors!

We work with ALL students at Illahee through school wide programming, class lessons, small groups, crisis response and individual counseling.  Since we deliver services to all K-5 students, we are limited in the depth of counseling we are able to deliver and am happy to work with families to find a mental health counselor who can meet with a student in or outside of school.  School Counseling curriculum is based on school and student needs and aligns with our school goals covering the academic, career and social-emotional areas.
