Meet The Counselors
Ms. Hoppis
Hello! My name is Jennifer Hoppis. I am proud to be a Raven and work in service of students! This will be my 10th year as the School Counselor at Illahee Elementary. It is an honor to work with such amazing staff, students, families and community partners!
Mr. Payette
Hi there! My name is David Payette and I am so happy to be back at Illahee Elementary School for my 2nd year. I am entering my 11th year as a School Counselor and am so excited to continue working with the Raven community. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help support your students!
We work with ALL students at Illahee through school wide programming, class lessons, small groups, crisis response and individual counseling. Since we deliver services to all K-5 students, we are limited in the depth of counseling we are able to deliver and am happy to work with families to find a mental health counselor who can meet with a student in or outside of school. School Counseling curriculum is based on school and student needs and aligns with our school goals covering the academic, career and social-emotional areas.
