The Sunset Sharks Choir and the Covington Colts Band helped to honor veterans at an assembly.
Each grade level at Harmony made a special effort to thank veterans with badges, door decorations, poems, or thank-you messages.
Students said thank you to veterans at their Veterans Day Assembly.
Cougars took time to honor our veterans during an assembly featuring music performances and student read letters from service members.
Kicking Things Off With Kindness. Pioneer held a Shining with Kindness and Honoring Our Veterans assembly. Students leaders modeled the importance of kindness and hope to the whole school.
Pacific gave tribute to the bravery and sacrifice or our veterans during an all school assembly featuring speeches, music performances, and a slide show displaying the many service members who are part of the Viking community.
Sifton showed their appreciation for our veterans at the assembly, which featured both the Sifton Choir and the Heritage High School Choir.
Navigators started the day by paying tribute to our veterans.
Students participated in a breakfast with Navy veteran Ray Lough and listened to his inspiring stories of incredible bravery and heroism.
Hearthwood Student Council did an amazing job leading a Veterans Day Celebration Assembly.
Not every child knows how to ride a bicycle and even more don't know how to ride one safely. Now thanks to the grant funded, Let's Go Bicycle Education Program, some EPS elementary school students are learning how to ride the correct way, right at school. The grant funding for this program comes courtesy of the WSDOT through the Climate Commitment Act and a partnership with the Cascade Bicycle Club. EPS plans on reapplying for the grant so that more schools can take part in the future.
Special thanks to Dr. Moloney for being a guest speaker to our future teachers in Teaching Academy at Heritage High School.

Silver Star Elementary School had an amazing turnout for their after-school event.
Leading the Way at EPS! Student leaders from high schools throughout the district gathered for this year's Youth Leadership Conference. The hands-on leadership training featured interactive workshops on subjects like conflict resolution, wellness, and even a "Shark Tank" workshop where students designed and pitched ideas to improve their student experience. The conference was lead and designed by the Connect Evergreen intern team.
Union held a signing day celebration to honor three athletes who have committed to compete as student athletes at the college level. Congratulations to to Ella Koch, who is headed to Oregon State to compete in track and cross county, Brooklyn Haywood, who will play basketball at Oregon and Haliegh Miller who signed to play soccer at Western Washington.
October's character trait of the month was responsibility. Congratulations to all the students and classes who were recognized for their October success.
Way to Go, Miss Poulsen's Class for receiving the Outstanding Attendance Award with 98% for the week of 10/27-10/31/25! We are so proud of you.
