Students plan for high school and beyond and complete the forecasting process using SchooLinks, their online portfolio and course planner. Video tutorials are posted on each page and can be captioned in many languages using YouTube's Subtitle/CC Auto-translate feature.

Video Viewing Tips
Follow these instruction to translate videos using the Subtitle/CC Auto-translate feature. For more comfortable viewing, mute the video and slow the playback speed to follow along as the subtitles are displayed in your preferred language.

Steps to view closed captions and translate subtitles.
1) Start the video and click on the Full Screen icon to access the full tool menu. If you would rather not listen in English while viewing the subtitles, click the Mute icon to turn off the sound.
2) Click on the Closed Captions icon in the bottom right corner of the screen then click on the Settings (Gear) icon to access Subtitle/CC.
3) Click on Subititles/CC to access the option to Auto-translate.
4) Click on Auto-translate. Use the scroll bar to find the language you want to translate into and click on it.
5) Subtitles will begin auto-translating at the bottom of your screen. Mute the video and change the video playback speed if you want the subtitles to play at a slower speed.

1) Start the video and click on the Full Screen icon to access the full tool menu.
2) Click on the Settings (Gear) icon to access Playback speed.
3) Click on Playback speed.
4) Slide the Custom speed bar or select the speed you would like from the menu.
5) The new playback speed will display. You can click anywhere on the screen to minimize the settings menu.
