Pennsylvania American Legion Scholarships - multiple opportunities with various deadline. Essay contest, Oratorical contest, scholarships, endowments and summer camp opportunities.
Big Future Scholarship - Open to Juniors and Seniors. Must have a College Board account, complete one or more qualifying steps on BigFuture, they'll be automatically entered into drawings for $500 or $40,000
Mount Aloysius FUTURE HEROS Scholarship - A $24,000 scholarship to all incoming nursing students from Pennsylvania starting in Fall 2021. The scholarship covers the associate RN degree program or the final two years of the BSN program at Mount Aloysius.

America250PA Scholarships - Deadline January 31st. To honor the legacy of Pennsylvania’s strong commitment to education, America250PA will be awarding $250,000 in scholarships to deserving Pennsylvania students attending Pennsylvania colleges and universities in the 2026/2027 academic school year.

The Pearl F. Born Scholarship - must be submitted online by 3PM Feb 27, preference given to education majors. If no education applications are received, other majors will be considered.
The Clayton Clark Memorial Scholarship - must be submitted online by 3PM Feb 27, preference for insurance, business, Information Technology and Computer Science majors.
Hermine Solt Student Scholarship - Due to Guidance Office by Feb. 27, for students planning a career in certain Business majors.

Central Pennsylvania Community Foundation Scholarships (application opens Jan 23rd) - Deadline March 6th. This foundation holds multiple scholarships, but only requires 1 application to complete. The universal application takes 15-20 minutes to complete and you'll upload supplemental documents as needed (including a transcript which you need to request from Ms. Mountan or Mrs. Barkman).

Bailey Family Football Matters Scholarship - Deadline March 6, currently enrolled in a Southern Alleghenies Football Coaches Association and member of the HS football team.
Bedford Grange Mutual Scholarship - Deadline March 6, children of Bedford Grange Mutual Insurance Company policy holders.
Brooke L. Leppert Scholarship - Deadline March 6, must attend a technical school program, continuing their education at a technical/trade school.
McCready Family Scholarship - Deadline March 6, Provides a scholarship award to a high school graduate from Cambria, Somerset, or Bedford County who plans to pursue an academic degree relating to communications, journalism, or English at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
Mr. Jodon Educational Scholarship - Deadline March 6, Provides a scholarship for students in Bedford, Cambria, Indiana, Somerset, or Westmoreland counties who will be pursuing a post-secondary degree in education.
William Keith Fulton Scholarship - Deadline March 6, attend UPJ for Civil Engineering, has financial need and interested in staying in the area after graduation.

Maxwell Transportation Scholarship - must be submitted online by 3PM March 11. For education majors, preference may be given to students planning to work with students with disabilities.
Weaver's Sanitation/Breezewood Transfer Station, LLC scholarship - must be submitted online by 3:00PM March 12.
The Breezewood Lions Club Scholarship - must be submitted online by 3PM March 13, must live in East Providence Township
Pennsylvania School Board Association Scholarships: Due by 4PM March 13th
The Frerichs Scholarship - pursuing a degree in education at a PA State System school
The Marcus Scholarship - pursuing a degree in public safety, criminology forensics or other law-enforcement/safety majors.
The H.H. Quimby Scholarship - for students who have served as a student representative to their local school board and plan to pursue a degree focused on policy, political science, advocacy or no-profit management.
The Swope Scholarship - for students pursuing a degree in the arts.
The Hagen Scholarship - need-based merit scholarship designed to help high-achieving students from small towns. Deadline - March 15
Western PA Trial Lawyers Association President's Scholarship - You do NOT need to be pursing a law degree. Deadline to Guidance Office is March 16. EAHS committee will then select 1 essay to be EAHS's submission and will submit it by the 20th deadline. This scholarship should not be duplicated by any other entity other than EAHS students. The Rod Ramsey Memorial Scholarship/R&N Tire - must be submitted online by 3PM March 19

Everett Area Education Association (EAEA Scholarship) - must be submitted online by 3:00PM March 25, for Education majors.
Everett Lions Club Community Service Award - completed application must be emailed or dropped off to Ms. Mountan by 3PM March 25th
Bedford Business and Professional Women Scholarship - deadline March 25 due to Guidance Office to mail, for female residents of Bedford County.
Everett Elementary Educators Scholarship - Education majors, must be submitted online by March 27th at 3PM
The Velma Crawford Defibaugh Social Science Scholarship - must be submitted online by 3:00PM March 27, preference (not requirement) given to students planning on majoring in social sciences or humanities (History, economics, political sciences, english, psychology, etc)
Breezewood VFW Post #8333 Scholarship - Must be submitted online by 3PM March30th.
Chime Scholar Foundation - open to students of all ages and pathways, Chime Members and non-Chime Members. If you are eligible to receive the federal Pell grant to attend your school/program, then you qualify. Deadline March 31st.
Artemas Community Association Scholarship - must be a resident of Mann Township, see newsletter for application info or call the township office (814-784-5416)
Allegany College of Maryland Presidential Scholarship - must be submitted by 3PM on March 30. 3.0+ gpa, must be attending ACM.
Memorial Hospital of Bedford County Foundation Health Professions Scholarships (UPMC) - Students must complete online applications and supply supporting documents online by March 31. Students may apply online through the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies. They may apply for both the Health Professions (AKA, Dr. Bert & Lucile Wiley, John “Jack” and Elizabeth Blackburn, Mary Pearl Hunt, and William and Sherry Obert) and the Thomas E. Bailey scholarships by submitting one application. Specific guidelines are outlined for each scholarship on the website.
The Health Professions Scholarship Program, (aka, Dr. Bert & Lucile Wiley, Mary Pearl Hunt, Obert, and Blackburn scholarships), disburses up to $8000 per year per student up to four years ($32,000) towards a career in the healthcare field. Program guidelines include students must be residents of Bedford County (one year minimum) and accepted into a health careers program. Students must commit to work at UPMC Bedford for a period of three years if a scholarship is awarded. The scholarships include a component tied to financial need. Pre-medical programs are not eligible.
The Thomas E. Bailey Scholarship is a one-time $4000 scholarship available only to high school seniors who attend a Bedford County high school and plan to obtain a four-year degree in health care. This scholarship is awarded with no employment commitment and is not based on financial need. Pre-medical programs are eligible.
Bedford Lodge No. 320 of Free and Accepted Masons Scholarship Application - deadline to be mailed by Guidance Office is March 31st. (Due to the Easter Break) Applicant must be the child or grandchild of a member of one of the lodges of Free and Accepted Masons in Bedford County (Bedford, Everett, or Hyndman).
Sweat 4 Vets Scholarship - has a family member who is a Veteran. Must submit via email by April 1st.
Debra Scott Memorial Scholarship - student must be majoring in Nursing. Deadline is April 1st at 3pm.
Paul E Price Memorial Scholarship - must be submitted to the email listed on application (ras@raystownambulance.com) by April 8th. Pursuing any degree or certification in a healthcare or medical profession field, including IT, business support in healthcare.
Bedford Fall Foliage Scholarship - April 13th deadline for Guidance office to mail. Available to Males AND Females.
Bedford Rural Electric Cooperative, INC Scholarship - Deadline April 10th if mailed by Guidance Office , must receive electric service from Bedford REC. Renewable scholarship for up to 4 years of school if certain criteria is met.
Bedford County Garden Club Scholarship - April 10th to Guidance Office. Majoring in one of the curriculums listed on the application (Biology, Forestry, Ag Ed/Business, Ecology, Botany, Horticulture, Landscape, Soil Conservation, etc more listed on application).
Southampton Historical Society Scholarship - due to Guidance Office by 3:00pm April 15th. Must be a resident of Southampton Township
Pennsylvania House of Representatives Scholarship Fund - 4-year scholarships, online application deadline April 15
Sandy Run Landfill Scholarship - deadline is April 20 to be mailed by Guidance Office.
Fred R. Stonesifer Scholarship Fund - 4 year scholarship, Preference will be given to students who plan to enroll in a four-year degree program with emphasis on math and science, online application must be submitted by 3PM April 20. Students receiving full tuition scholarships through other means are not eligible.
Everett Wrestling Boosters Association Scholarship - deadline to be turned in to Jessica Grove at Everett Elementary is April 24. Completed applications and supporting documents can be emailed to her at jgrove@everettasd.org.
Jeff Onstead Memorial Scholarship - Any kind of health care field, deadline April 27th to be emailed by Guidance Office
Pennsylvania Rural Electric Association - Jody Loudenslager Scholarship - if mailed by us, due to Guidance Office by April 28th, for student representatives that attended the REA Youth Tour.
Pennsylvania Rural Electric Association Scholarship in Memory of William F. Matson - if mailed by us, due to Guidance Office by April 28th, for children of members or employees of PA electric cooperatives
Bedford County Republican Committee Scholarship - deadline is April 30th if mailed by Guidance Office.
The Pennsylvania Heritage Foundation Essay Scholarships - email application and supporting documents to designated email by May 1. Must be pursuing a course of study in History or an allied field.

Bedford County Junior Fair Board Scholarship - deadline May 4th to be emailed by Guidance Office, must be an active member of either FFA or 4-H and have actively participated in the 2025 Bedford County Fair.

The Wayne Hyde Arts Award - deadline is April 25th. All graduating seniors who are involved in any form of the arts, including music, band, chorus, performing arts/theater, visual arts, painting sculpture, drawing, etc., are eligible to be considered for receiving this award. The individual selected will receive $500.00 to be used in any way the individual finds useful in their growth as an artist. You do NOT have to be attending any post-secondary education.
The Lariat Future Innovators Foundation STEM Scholarship - Pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering and math. Must be from a small town (Everett is eligible) and have a family household income of $55,000 or less. Deadline June 15
