Hello,
My name is Megan Campbell, and I am thrilled to be your child's teacher this year. With eleven years of teaching experience, including six years in third grade, I am passionate about fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. My educational qualifications include an Orton-Gillingham certification in dyslexia, a minor in early childhood education, and a bachelor's degree in elementary education. I also hold a master's degree in curriculum and instruction, which enhances my ability to meet the diverse needs of my students.
Throughout my career, I have focused on addressing the unique needs I encounter in the classroom. I was honored to be recognized as an Outstanding Educator during the 2022-2023 school year. Additionally, I love to create opportunities for students with unique learning needs, helping them reach their highest potential within our local Catholic school classrooms. I firmly believe in meeting each student where they are on their academic journey and equipping them with the necessary tools for success.
On a personal note, I am married to my wonderful husband, Clay, and we have two daughters, Millie and Eden. We are proud members of Saint James Parish, where I also attended school as a child. Being part of the Saint James team feels like being part of a family.
P.S. The bunny in my photo is a special friend I caught on the first day of school during the 2021-2022 school year. He was our good luck charm, and my students named him Olaf.
