Hello,
My name is Megan Campbell, and I am thrilled to be your child's teacher this year. With ten years of teaching experience, including five years in third grade, I am passionate about fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. My educational qualifications include an Orton-Gillingham certification in dyslexia, a minor in early childhood education, and a bachelor's degree in elementary education. I also hold a master's degree in curriculum and instruction, which enhances my ability to meet the diverse needs of my students.
Throughout my career, I have focused on addressing the unique needs I encounter in the classroom. I was honored to be recognized as an Outstanding Educator during the 2022-2023 school year. Additionally, I serve as the local MEO board representative, where we strive to create opportunities for students with unique learning needs, helping them reach their highest potential within our local Catholic school classrooms. I firmly believe in meeting each student where they are on their academic journey and equipping them with the necessary tools for success.
On a personal note, I am married to my wonderful husband, Clay, and we have two daughters, Millie and Eden. We are proud members of Saint James Parish, where I also attended school as a child. Being part of the Saint James team feels like being part of a family.
P.S. The bunny in my photo is a special friend I caught on the first day of school during the 2021-2022 school year. He was our good luck charm, and my students named him Olaf.
