Book Review – SB 13
Why are these book lists posted?
In compliance with Texas Senate Bill 13 (SB 13), proposed school library book purchases must be posted for public review for at least 30 days before the school board may approve them. This process ensures transparency and provides parents and community members the opportunity to see what titles are being considered for our school libraries.
How does it work?
Each librarian submits a list of proposed books by campus.
Lists are posted here for 30 days of public review.
After 30 days, the lists will be presented to the school board for approval.
