Why are these book lists posted?
In compliance with Texas Senate Bill 13 (SB 13), proposed school library book purchases must be posted for public review for at least 30 days before the school board may approve them. This process ensures transparency and provides parents and community members the opportunity to see what titles are being considered for our school libraries.
How does it work?
Each librarian submits a list of proposed books by campus.
Lists are posted here for 30 days of public review.
After 30 days, the lists will be presented to the school board for approval.

We want to hear from you! If you have a concern about a book on the proposed library list, please use our SB 13 Book Concern Form. Your feedback helps the district review titles carefully before they are approved by the school board. Please provide as much detail as you can so we can consider your concern appropriately.
