Dear Parents,

Welcome! My name is Cyndi Griffiths, and I am excited to begin the school year at Bear Valley Middle School. I am very passionate about working with middle school students. I believe that grades 6-8 are some of the most crucial years in an adolescent's personal development.

My goal this year is to be able to assist your child academically, personally, and developmentally. To do so, I believe it is important to create a positive learning environment for the students so that they learn from both the teacher and from their peers. I hope that this environment will promote students to take academic risks, feel comfortable with making mistakes, and ultimately learn from their experiences.

I invite you as parents, to play an active role in our classroom community. I would like to maintain an open line of communication with you as it is important to discuss your child's progress throughout the year.
