I am Aaron, son of Owen and Thoa, and brother to Sean.

I claim the University of California San Diego (UCSD) as my alma mater. I graduated in 1994 with a B.A. in Mathematics.

My years as a Triton were some of the best years of my life.

I have many extracurricular passions, but my favorite is Disc Golf (my favorite Disc Golf course is Kit Carson Park).

The 2024-2025 school year will mark my 28th year teaching, and it will be my 27th at Mission Middle School.

I teach because, ultimately, I want to help others (and society in general), and this is the best way that I feel I can personally do this.

I teach Math because it is the language with which the universe has been written.

To understand Math (and Science) is to better understand how the universe works.

Also, understanding Math (and Science) leads to clarity of thought and an improved ability to reason logically.

I teach Math at Mission Middle School because this is the school that first offered me a full-time teaching position, and I have never felt a desire to leave or teach elsewhere.

I have come to embrace the students that I have had the privilege to teach over the years.

I feel, in some (very) small way, that I have contributed to their successes, and I am proud of the men and women that they have become.

Enseño Matemáticas en Mission Middle School porque esta es la escuela que primero me ofreció un puesto de docente a tiempo completo, y nunca he sentido el deseo de irme o enseñar en otro lugar.

He venido a abrazar a los estudiantes que he tenido el privilegio de enseñar a lo largo de los años.

Siento, de alguna manera (muy) pequeña, que he contribuido a sus éxitos, y estoy orgulloso de los hombres y mujeres en los que se han convertido.
