You have the opportunity to create a project in JavaScript. Go to Introduction to JavaScript. Under the "Color" heading you will find, "Project: What's For Dinner?" Erase the original code and use this space to create your own project. Create a project with a Spring/Summer theme. (ie. Easter, flowers, beach, 4th of July, baseball, etc...)
Your project must:
Be creative.
Have code labeled and easy to read.
Use different shapes. Not just ellipses, rectangles, and triangles.
Use Documentation and try something new.
Use only original material.
Have fun!
You have the opportunity to create a project of your choice; in either JavaScript or in Alice 3. Your project can be created using JavaScript Alice 3.
Your project must:
Be creative.
Be new, stretch your abilities and try something different that will test your skills.
Have at least five animations within the project.
Go to Intro to JavaScript. Under the "Animation Basics" heading you will see "Project: Shooting Star"
Delete all the code and then create your own project.
You are to complete one of the following:
Your first choice is to create a city skyline. (all 6th grade students must have a city skyline)
Your second choice is to create any kind of setting.
Each project must demonstrate the following:
Knowledge of simple coding commands such as ellipse, rectangles, and color.
Adding different commands that can be found under "Documentation" such as arcs, line weight/stroke, triangles.
Each project must:
have several (3 minimum) objects animated.
be easy to read with spacing between lines.
use "//" to add description to your line of code.
use original code.

You have the opportunity to create a face of an animal using JavaScript that will be able to move freely using "x" and "y" variables. Create a spin-off and title it "Moving Pictures". Create the animal face using easy numbers to work with (ie. rounded to the tens or hundreds). Then connect everything using "x" and "y" variables. See "Challenge: Funky Frog" for an example.
Your project must:
Be creative (Make sure it does not look like the frog example or your neighbors project)
Stretch your abilities, try something new.
Open up a new project using Alice 3.
Begin by using the "Sea Floor" background.
After selecting "File", go to "Save as" and name your project "UnderSea" (no spaces).
Select "Setup Scene" and then add your "Camera Marker".
Add different objects to the background, ie. seaweed, rocks, sunken ship, etc.
Add fish
Animate fish. Use the link above , "How to Animate Using Alice 3".
Remember to not make your scene too crowded to give your fish room to swim and be creative.

Be creative with a short (under 60 seconds) story.
Be new, stretch your abilities and try something different that will test your skills.
Have at least five animations within the project.
If you choose to work with Swift Playground, please show me your progress (what level you are currently attempting) before you begin.
You have the opportunity to use procedures and add movements to an Alice 3 project. Create a quick new scene in Alice 3, or you can use the ogre/cauldron scene that we have been working with in class. Try something new and attempt to make realistic movements.
Your project must:
Be creative
Be new, stretch your abilities and try something different that will test your skills.
Have at least three animations within the project.

In order to find your project click on your name or lunch number in the top right corner. Open "Learner home" --> "Profile". Click on "View all" next to "Projects". Your project is located here.
