Who can attend?
Only K-6 students who are recommended by teachers may attend our camps. We will send invitations to all parents and guardians with a registration LINK.
Those camp attendees who are socioeconomically disadvantaged may extend their day by enrolling in our STAR/ELOP program (refer to information HERE). They may also continue their summer program by attending STAR/ELOP for the rest of July.
Is your child an English Learner?
K-7 English Learners are invited to attend (instead) EL Camps designed to improve on English proficiency skills. EUSD offers two camps: (a) EL Newcomer Camp, and (b) EL Camp.
Both camps are grade span specific (structure will depend on registrations). These camps are designed to be fun and engaging and will utilize project-based learning in the field of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) to promote literacy skills.
STAR/ELOP programs are available for English Learners and/or Socioeconomically Disadvantaged students. After school classes (3 hours, until 5 pm) and July classes (9 hours per day) are available. Registration is via STAR. If your student is NOT an EL or SED student, you may also avail of these opportunities (for pay) via STAR.
