How do I purchase a yearbook?
Yearbooks can be purchased online or through the EHS Finance Office. See the Order a Yearbook page for full details.
The Yearbook is expensive. Is there any way to make it cost less?
The best way to bring the yearbook for the lowest price possible is to order one at the beginning of the year, while they are $85. After October, the price will go up to $95. If you buy your book through the EHS Finance Office, you also have the option of starting a payment plan. You can pay as little as $10 toward the cost of your book before 10/31 to lock in the $85 price, then pay off the cost of your book over the course of the school year.
What happens if I don't complete my payment plan?
There are no refunds available on payment plans, but you can roll the funds over to the following school year to use for the next yearbook!
When will yearbooks be distributed?
Yearbooks are distributed near the end of the school year, usually the last week of May or the first week of June. We endeavor to make them available for the Senior Picnic (if the picnic is on campus) so seniors can spend time reminiscing and signing each other's books at that event.
Can I still purchase a yearbook after the deadline?
We place our order for yearbooks in February and at that time, our total book count is finalized. We always order around 50 extras just in case, but those books are distributed on a first-come, first-served and cost $115. The only way to guarantee that you get a yearbook is to pre-order it before February. We recommend ordering a book as soon as possible as the price does increase throughout the year.
How can I submit photos for the yearbook?
If you would like your photos featured in the yearbook, you are welcome to email them to yearbook staff members, send photos to our Instagram account, or submit photos through the Yearbook Snap app (School Code: 123456789). Also, be on the lookout for emails from Mrs. Needham asking for specific photo submissions and detailing other ways you can participate in making the yearbook.
How can I order a personalized yearbook?
Personalization and customization options (like adding your name or icons to your yearbook) are available and can be ordered online through our school store on the Walsworth website. These options are not available through the EHS Finance Office.
Are there any senior portrait requirements?
Senior portraits must be school-appropriate and may not feature weapons of any kind (such as hunting rifles).
Portraits should have a resolution of at least 300 ppi (pixels per inch) and be in .jpg or .png format.
For the best quality image in the yearbook, photos should be in portrait orientation. Landscape photos will be cropped. In the book, the print size of each portrait will be about 1.75"W x 2.5"H.
Can I purchase advertising space in the yearbook?
Parents and families may purchase ad space as a way to recognize the accomplishments of their senior student(s). See the Senior Ads page for all information and instructions. For the 25-26 school year. Senior ad materials are due by 2/27/26.
Businesses may purchase ad space in the back of our book as a way to support the yearbook program and advertise their business. If you are interested in purchasing ad space for your business, please see the Business Ads page for all information and instructions.
How can I get involved in creating the yearbook?
If you are interested in becoming a yearbook staff member, talk to your counselor about registering for Yearbook next year! If the class doesn't fit into your schedule, you can always submit photos to us through email, Instagram, or Yearbook Snap. Generally, the more involved you are in school activities, the more involved you will be in creating the yearbook!
What should I do if there's an error in my yearbook?
Before you write in your yearbook, be sure to check it over for damage. If you find any, return it to the Finance Office immediately and you will be given a new book.
While every effort is made to ensure the yearbook is objective and accurate and our book undergoes a rigorous proofreading and editing process, it is a student publication, and we know mistakes happen. We sincerely apologize for any omissions, misspellings, or other errors that occurred during this educational editorial process.
If something you purchased, like a senior ad or baby photo, was omitted from the book, we apologize profusely for the error, and the EHS Finance Office can refund you the cost of those items.
