REVENUE PLANNING TOOLKIT

What are these tools?

The following tools are resources to teach you how to understand your revenue in your regional arts organisation.

These tools have been developed by EUPHORIUM - an Arts Social Enterprise - to help organisations identify the unique business model opportunities we have in the creative industries in regional WA.

Each region and organisation is different, however by focusing on "value creation" and "purpose" you can find way of profiting from your purpose and build sustainable business models for your organisation.

Developed in the REAL WORLD…

The following tools have been developed by our team at Euphorium to help us build revenue as a social enterprise for the past 7 years. We DESIGN and USE these tools in our organisation every day to empower our purpose in Regional WA, while building more sustainable business models.

Euphorium is a group of social entrepreneurs invested in designing, developing and delivering creative programs, training, services, systems, resources, festivals and events that empower communities, creatives and organisations.

Understanding where our revenue comes from allows us to understand where we are sustainable and where we are not. This allows us to make informed decisions about how we can sustainability increase our investment and impact in the communities we work in.

This toolkit firsts development has been developed as part of Regional Arts WA’s Regional Arts Sector Investment program which is supported by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, with Royalties for Regions funding from the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development.

Ongoing updating and extending of these resources has been conducted by Euphorium with the aim to share strategies for a more sustainable creative industry.

Ask yourself?

Do you diagnose the actual problem, or just create band-aid solutions?

Do you panic when it comes to being sustainable? Do you take the time to looked at the heart of the problem? Do you mobilise into action stations when you are short on cash and just do whatever it takes to get through?

(If you answered yes to any of these you are completely normal)
