Hosted at Paradigm Coffee and Music the Etude Art Fair gives students a chance to present and sell their creations to the public. The event is an opportunity for students to learn about the pricing and salesmanship of art selling as well as make some money! All student sales are kept by the student. Past work has included paintings, cards, masks, bracelets, crocheted pieces and more!
"The National Portfolio Day Association (NPDA) was established in 1978 solely for the organization and planning of National Portfolio Day events. Today, the Association continues this work and has broadened its mission to provide support to professionals advising students on portfolio development for college/university admission." Etude students interested in pursuing a visual arts degree are encouraged to take part in MIAD's portfolio days. This event allows students to have their portfolios viewed by numerous colleges and get feedback on what's strong and what could be improved in their portfolio. Students can also recieve help at any time from their art teacher!
