This year is all about Society and Change. We will be covering the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, and 1400-1600s. Students will study different parts of society in the past in order to understand why and how things change. The first part of the year will be studying the Middle Ages and understanding how fundamentally that 1000 years of history is so different from our lives now. We will then look at the Renaissance and compare it to other places geographically around the world to understand how that time has influenced our society now. Lastly, we will look at folklore and explore where they come from and how those stories still impact our society today.
Click above or use the navigation in the top bar to see agendas for each day. This will help you know what we are doing in class that day and what you need to makeup if you miss a day.
Please note that assignments/other resources are posted to Google Classroom.
