2009 - Richard Caton
Richard Caton moved from Kentucky to Pinellas County in 1983 and began his law practice as the Managing Attorney of the Seminole office for Fisher & Sauls, P.A.
Subsequent to moving to Seminole community Richard became involved in numerous different community activities some of which included:
He served as a baseball coach, softball coach, and soccer coach at Seminole Youth Athletic Association.
He is a former member of the Kiwanis Club
He served on the Pinellas County Sheriff's Citizens Advisory Committee
The City of Seminole Personnel Advisory Committee.
He served on the Board of Directors for the Pinellas County Estate Planning Council
He was a member of the Seminole Chamber of Commerce
He is the former President of the Pinellas County Mid-County Bar Association.
He participated in the organization of the Seminole Chamber of Commerce in its early years
Chairperson of the City of Seminole Charter Review Committee, and was the primary draftsman of the current City Charter that changed the form of government from strong Mayor to City Manager form of municipal government.
Richard also served as President of the Seminole Chamber of Commerce in 1991 - 1992 and received the Chamber of Commerce Merit Award in 1993.
