UPDATES

Future Assessments:

For the next week, we will be refocusing on multiplication and division of fractions. This appeared to be a very difficult unit for many of the students. Because of this, I am choosing to provide students with the opportunity for a redo test, instead of a retest. This means that students taking it will have the opportunity to reach 100%. All students below an 80% will be taking the redo test. If your student received an 80% or higher, he/she may choose to take a redo test on Thursday, May 23.

Past Assessments

Geometry tests were handed back on Friday, May 17th. If your student needs to retest, you will be notified.

Math Facts

As we move forward through our units in fifth grade, your student's knowledge of their basic math facts is very important in helping them succeed. Please help your student review their basic facts often! This can be done through flashcards and different games. Following is a website with different activities to use as well.
