Anna Woodside Scholarship - flyer

Mid Penn Bank's Anna Woodside Scholarship rewards four outstanding high school seniors with $1,000 for college tuition costs. To be considered, applicants must prove dedication to academic excellence and community service. Applicants must be high school seniors who reside within Mid Penn Bank's service area. Applicants must enroll full-time at an accredited college, university or vocational school in the United States for the fall term of the 2025-2026 school year. Employees of Mid Penn Bank and their immediate family members are not eligible to apply. Customers and non-customers are welcome to apply.


Elizabethtown Kiwanis Club Scholarship

Elizabethtown College invites you to apply for the Elizabethtown Kiwanis Club Scholarship. Elizabethtown College offers a scholarship worth up to one-half tuition to a local high school student or an adult resident of the Elizabethtown Area School District. The Board of Directors of the Elizabethtown Kiwanis Club shall be responsible for selecting recipients for the scholarship. 


Ervin L. Steele Nursing Scholarship

Two (2) Nursing Scholarships of $1000.00 (one thousand) each are being offered to graduating High school students residing within Lancaster or Chester County. The Foundation for Enhancing Communities Scholarship Database

It is through the generosity of local individuals, families, and businesses that we are able to offer more than 190 scholarship opportunities. TFEC is the largest provider of scholarships in South Central, Pennsylvania, awarding over $1.7 million in scholarships to more than 400 local students alone through various scholarship funds administered by TFEC and through management agreements with the Samuel L. Abrams Foundation, the Leon Lowengard and Ray S. Shoemaker scholarships of BNY Mellon, N.A. and York Rotary Club. Whether honoring loved ones or providing for specific communities, each scholarship expresses a deep belief in the power of education to help today’s youth achieve their dreams.


Hagan Scholarship Foundation

The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients “regardless of nationality” with the opportunity to achieve their goals and graduate college debt-free. The scholarship provides up to $7,500 each semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters. 


John Apple Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship provides a $1,500 scholarship in memory of John F. Apple to a graduating Lancaster County high school swimmer who wants to further his/her education. The successful candidate will be a leader and innovator who approaches life with a positive attitude. One senior male and one senior female will be selected for this one-time award.


Lancaster Building Industry Foundation Scholarship

The Foundation offers scholarship amounts ranging from $500 to $1,500+ for students pursuing secondary education in residential construction or construction-related trades.


Lancaster County Conservation District - Ann Brown Scholarship

$1,000 Scholarships for High School Students pursuing a curriculum which focuses on natural resources and/or conservation.


Lancaster Foundation Scholarships - Due February 21, 2025

Thanks to generous donors with a passion for supporting the future generation, each year we are able to award scholarships to help advance Lancaster County students’ education. We offer scholarships for students pursuing an education in any field of study and you can apply at any stage of your undergraduate career.


Luthercare Nursing Scholarship - flyer

 Luthercare is offering scholarships to high school seniors in Berks, Lancaster, Lebanon, and York Counties who plan to pursue a nursing degree.  Two $5,000 scholarships, two $3,000 scholarship, and nine $1,000 scholarships will be awarded this spring.  Applicants are required to complete an application, submit two letters of recommendation, and write an essay describing why they should receive the scholarship and why they are interested in the field of nursing. 


Metzger & Wickersham Road to Safety Scholarship

The ultimate goal of the contest is to help spread the message to drive with safety in mind all the time! First place winners will receive a $1,000 scholarship, second place winners will receive $750, and third place winners will receive $500.

Murry Foundation Scholarship

The Murry Foundation Scholarship is being offered to Lancaster County high school students.  The Murry Foundation with ties to Lancaster County, PA and Lexington, KY has established a scholarship specifically to benefit graduating seniors from Lancaster County public high schools. This need-based scholarship provides an award of $5,000 that is renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study.   The review committee heavily weights a student’s unmet financial need, along with the student’s academic potential. Students will access the online application by visiting the Blue Grass Community Foundation website and then following the link to our Scholarship Application Online Portal. Once registered, students will complete the “Blue Grass Community Foundation Eligibility Form - 2025.”   Once the student submits the Eligibility Form, they are automatically matched with the scholarships for which they are eligible.  The student then completes the specific application(s) for the scholarships they qualified for.  The application deadline is March 7, 2025 by 11:59 pm ET.   

 

Orrstown Bank Scholarship

The Scholarship Committee will consider any application for any student who is enrolled as a full-time secondary student in good standing, will apply for admission to, be accepted to, and enroll at a post-secondary institution (e.g., university, college, community college, or technical school) for the 2025-2026 academic year as a full-time student.


Pennsylvania School Public Relations Association (PenSPRA) Student Scholarships Program

Each year, PenSPRA presents a student from each of its two regions with a $1,000 scholarship. Scholarships are awarded to qualified Pennsylvania public high school seniors who plan to pursue a career in a communications field (i.e., journalism, English, public relations, advertising, graphic arts, etc.). SME Education Foundation Scholarship - flyer

Our scholarship program awards millions of dollars to hundreds of graduating high school seniors and current college students pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in technical fields that directly support manufacturing.


Student-View Scholarship Program

The Student-View Scholarship Program is offering over $13,000 worth of scholarships to high school seniors who plan to attend a four-year college, community/junior college or career school.


SVUA Girls' Softball Scholarship

A one-time $750 scholarship to two senior high school varsity softball players who participated in the youth Lancaster County Girls Softball League (formerly the Donegal Rheems Girls Softball League) and continued playing high school softball through her senior year.


U.S. Junior Chamber International (JCI) Senate Foundation Scholarship

The Pennsylvania JCI (Junior Chamber International) Senate is an organization affiliated with the Pennsylvania Jaycees and the United States JCI Senate. We promote leadership training through community involvement and believe “that service to humanity is the best work of life.” Our commitment to working with our communities and serving others is the basis for our scholarship program.

The Pennsylvania JCI Senate annually sponsors a scholarship for senior students who are residents of Pennsylvania. We will be awarding two $750 scholarships this year. The applications of these two recipients will then be forwarded to the United States JCI Senate Foundation for consideration to receive an additional national grant of $1500 for those students furthering their education at a college or university or $1000 for those attending a vocational or industrial school.
