We understand this is a big step in your child's life. Please take TIME to make this decision.
Discuss their reasoning with them. Why do they like it?
What preferences do they have? Do they like the higher sounds or the lower sounds?
This is a lifelong pursuit! This can be something they do for the rest of their lives!
Encourage your child to do their research. Using websites like YouTube are VERY helpful when choosing an instrument!
Remember: This is a new skill! It won't always be easy. Your teachers, friends, and lesson group will be there to help your child throughout this process.
