Menna El Gamal

Hi! My name is Menna El Gamal and I am currently a Junior at Evanston Township High School. On the Evanstonian I am the Social Media Editor. Some of my work on the Evanstonian includes, managing our social media accounts,  creating content, and assisting with layout and communication when needed. Outside of my work on the Evanstonian I dance competitively and I enjoy reading and painting. When creating content for the Evanstonian, my job is to create posts mainly using canva for designing posts. When designing posts I try to give our social media a variety of sections, and stories that our audience can connect with such as pop culture events, important events within our school walls as well as in our community. Since social media has grown in our society exponentially, as a publication we have to grow with our society. The importance of social media is grabbing peoples attention with the highlights and directing them to our website to engage further with our publication.
