Welcome to the 4 Latin & Honors Course!  This page contains various resources to help you succeed in our 4 Latin class throughout the year.   Almost all of the documents we use in class will be posted on our Google Drive Folder or Google Classroom.  In order to access our Google Drive folder, you must be signed into your eths202.org account, which is your school ID (lastnamefirstinitial@eths202.org) and your  password.  Please read the Course Expectations for 4 Latin & H .  Then, please complete the Information and Agreement form by Friday, August 25, 2023.

• Join our ETHS 4 Latin Quizlet Group to have access to pre-made flashcards for all of our 4 Latin vocabulary lists.  When creating your username, please make it something I will be able to recognize so I can tell who is who.

• Join our ETHS Latin Review Topics Quizlet Group to access pre-made flashcards that cover some important Latin review topics.

• Looking for an online Latin dictionary?  My favorite is Whitaker's Words Online Latin Dictionary. Don't forget to use your own common sense though when sifting through the results.

• Dactylic Hexameter practice

• Visit the Latin Library to get access to the Latin text for most of the things we translate in this course.  Use this page to copy and paste text to create blank line worksheets for yourself or to find the text when you forget your textbook. 

• Check out the Perseus Project for hyperlinked text and other notes to help you when translating.

• Nodictionaries: A great tool with vocabulary and grammar notes embedded in to the text

• Linguaphile?  Build your English vocabulary or explore the roots of words with these free online sites:

• The Ancient History Encyclopedia is a great place to learn more about the history and culture of Ancient Rome and other ancient civilizations.
