Guidelines
Submissions Due: 11:59 pm CT on Friday, December 22, 2023
Finalists will be featured on this website as part of the online film festival.
Winning entries will be screened at IDEAcon at the Renaissance Convention Center in Schaumburg for the live film festival on either February 19, 20, 21, or 22. We are still in the process of planning the final details for this event. Details will be finalized and shared soon. These student filmmakers will be invited with their classes and/or families to visit the offices and be honored at this event. Please note that while any student in K-12 is welcome to enter the film fest, winning filmmakers must find their own transportation to and from IDEAcon at the Renaissance Convention Center in Schaumburg.
For inspiration, check out some of the student films from last year's GEG Film Fest Winners.
See below for scoring information.
