Meet the Team
David Chan is currently the Director of Instructional Technology at Evanston Township High School (ETHS). David taught math and science for 10 years (5 at Roycemore School, 5 at ETHS) before becoming the Technology Integration Specialist for 5 years at ETHS. David is a Google for Education Certified Innovator and Google Certified Trainer. He serves as the Conference Co-Chair for #ICE19 (Illinois Computing Educators), Workshops Co-Chair for #ISTE19 and is the past president for NICE (Northern Illinois Computing Educators).
Mina Marien has served as an Instructional Technology Specialist at ETHS since 2013. She previously taught Latin at ETHS and supported teachers in the World Languages department as an instructional coach. She loves working with students in classes throughout the school and enjoys collaborating with teachers to design and teach tech integrated lessons. Outside of school she serves on the NICE (Northern Illinois Computing Educator) Board as the co-chair for NICE MiniCon and is a Google Education Trainer.
Danielle Petros joined the ETHS community in 2015 as a Media Specialist supporting students and classes in the South Technology Center. She began her role as the Support Specialist Trainer in January 2017, focusing on the technology integration and support of the non-instructional staff at ETHS. Previously, she worked at Apple as a Personal trainer and workshop facilitator.
