ETHS Health Services in the Nurse's Office
The Nurse's Office is located in Room N121. The school nurses provide evaluation to students who become ill or injured during the school day and can coordinate same-day appointments for an ill student who is registered to use the ETHS School-Based Health Center.
Primary services provided include:
Evaluate students who become ill during the school day or who have emotional health complaints
First aid
Medication administration
Referral to ETHS Health Center
Referral to community resources
Emotional health counseling and support
Height, weight, vision and hearing screening
Monitor compliance with Illinois Department of Public Health regulations and immunization requirements
Elevator access for students with temporary injuries or physical disabilities
Medical excuse verification for Physical Education classes
Sports physical verification for student athletes

ETHS School-Based Health Center
THE ETHS SBHC is located in Room H101. The ETHS SBHC is a partnership between NorthShore University HealthSystem . Health Center staff are employees of NorthShore University HealthSystem.
Services Offered
The ETHS Health Center is a school-based facility that provides care to students Monday-Friday during the school year and Monday-Thursday during the summer. Health Center staff (pediatricians and nurse practitioners) provide preventive care such as physical exams, immunizations, wellness/health education, gynecologic care, and reproductive services, as well as diagnosis and treatment of acute illness and injury, diagnosis and management of chronic illness, lab testing and psychological support.

Fees
For students with private health insurance, the Health Center charges a small fee for physicals, immunizations, and lab testing. All other services are free. For students who have Medicaid/All Kids there is no out of pocket expenses. Immunizations are only available to students who qualify for the Federal Vaccines for Children program (includes those with Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services Health Plan, uninsured, and American Indian or Alaskan Native). No student will be turned away because of inability to pay.
