The Department of Applied Artificial Intelligence of Ming Chuan University was established in the 112th academic year (formerly known as the Department of Computer and Communication Engineering). The department aims to cultivate information technology elites and forward-looking artificial intelligence application talents. All teachers in this department have doctoral degrees from top universities. Curriculum planning emphasizes cross-field integration and both theory and practice. In line with the needs of the information technology field and the AI industry, planning includes Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Science, Internet of Things, AIoT, Big Data Analysis, Smart Home, Smart Medical Care, Augmented Reality, AR/Virtual Reality, VR/ and professional fields such as extended reality XR and Metaverse applications.
