Stronger together. Raider forever.
Parents & Students Newsletter
Welcome to the inaugural edition of Raider Highlights!
As I begin my first year as Principal of Silver Creek High School, I am honored and grateful to rejoin the Raider community. Silver Creek holds a very special place in my heart—I am a proud former graduate and had the privilege of serving as a science teacher here for 15 years.
I am excited to welcome our students, staff, and families back for a new school year filled with opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed together. Thank you for the warm welcome and support. I look forward to celebrating our accomplishments, sharing important updates, and continuing to build a strong, caring Raider community with all of you.
We Are Raiders. We Choose Kindness. We Rise with Resilience. We Have What It Takes to Be Successful. We Belong. We Are Raider Proud. Once a Raider, Always a Raider.

How Students Access their Class Schedules
Students can view their class schedules through Infinite Campus, which they can access from their student ARMS portal. Students should check their schedule before the first day of school to make sure they know where their classes are.
Instructions to View Your Schedule
Go to https://arms.esuhsd.org/
Log in using your East Side (@students.esuhsd.org) email and password
Click on the "Infinite Campus Student" icon
Once logged in, you will see "Schedule" on the left-hand side
Use QR Code if you need to report an error (do NOT send an email)
Class Balancing: While we do our best to have the schedule finalized by the first week of August, fluctuations in enrollment can result in schedule changes. We are required to balance classes for the first 17 days of school. For that reason, your schedule is subject to change between now and the 17th day of school.

As we welcome two new school counselors to Silver Creek, please note your student’s counselor may have changed. School Counselor caseloads are listed below by last names. We look forward to collaborating with you and your students to guide them in their educational journey.
While technology and AI can be valuable learning tools when guided by teachers, we also want students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and creativity—skills that are strengthened through active learning and meaningful classroom experiences.
CAMPUS SAFETY
At Silver Creek, we prioritize student safety and maximizing learning time. To encourage students to arrive on time and avoid disruptions, and to account for students when they are on campus, we ask that they remain in class during the first and last 10 minutes of class. Additionally, we do not allow food deliveries so that we do not have unauthorized individuals on site or disruptions.
Parents please contact our attendance office to excuse your student.

We were excited to welcome the Class of 2030 to Silver Creek during Freshman Orientation! Students toured the campus, picked up their schedules and Chromebooks, and were onboarded to ARMS and Canvas, helping them start the school year with confidence.
Thank You, Raider Families!
A heartfelt thank you to all of our parents and families for joining us at Freshman Orientation. Your support, enthusiasm, and partnership helped create a warm and welcoming experience for our newest Raiders. We appreciate you being part of our school community and look forward to working together to make this a successful and memorable school year.
Our Cheer Program kicked off Camp Week with the beloved Big/Little Reveal, pairing Varsity and JV cheerleaders to build mentorship, leadership, and Raider family.
Silver Creek proudly hosted the JAMZ Summer Cheer Camp (July 23–26), welcoming 600+ high school and 350+ youth cheerleaders. This was our 6th—and largest—year hosting the event!
A special shoutout to Reggie the Raider, who brought Raider spirit to campers during School Camp Day 2. Also, a special kudos to Coach Justine and Mario for their continued guidance and mentorship of our Cheer team.
