Parcel Tax Exemption Information

Measure G Parcel Tax did not officially pass.

Measure G

On February 13, 2018 the Board of Trustees voted to place a local high school Parcel Tax "Measure G" of $49 per parcel on the June 2018 ballot. If "Measure G" is passed by the voters on June 5th then the District will begin accepting applications for exemptions from the Parcel Tax.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who qualifies for an exemption?

1) Are you over 65, own and live in your home?

2) Are you permanently disabled and receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI/SSDI)?


If you answered yes to either of the above questions, then you may be eligible for a Parcel Tax Exemption on your Property Tax Bill if "Measure G" passes.

Once my exemption is started, how do I stay on the exempt list?

If "Measure G" passes on June 5th and once your application has been processed, you will receive a letter from the School District in May each year requesting confirmation that you still live at the address. Sign and return this letter to remain on the exempt list.
