California State University (CSU) & University of California (UC)
Minimum Admission Requirements
To be considered for admission at a CSU or UC, students must satisfy these requirements:
Complete the A-G requirements (see below for more info)
Earn a minimum grade point average (GPA)
UCs - at least a 3.0 or better
CSUs - at least a 2.5 or better
Must pass A - G with a "C" or better
CSUs and UCs do not use "+" and "-" in the GPA calculation
For example: C- = C

A-G requirements are the minimum requirements that students must meet for admission at a CSU and/or UC.
Students must complete 15 yearlong high school courses
at least 11 of those courses before their 12th grade year
Must pass these courses with a "C" or better
