Welcome to James Lick!
This is your chance to get prepared the New Tech way. Five weeks of summer school will give you 10 high school credits. You will gain skills and experience to be better prepared for 9th grade. Attendance is very important, and each student is only allowed 2 absences during summer school. Summer school options are:
Summer Bridge (10 Elective credits)
Math 1 for advancement (10 Math credits)
Math 2 for advancement (10 Math credits)

Freshman Schedule
Every student is scheduled for six (6) classes
Each 9th grade student will be placed in English 1, Biology, Math 1 and PE 1
The two remaining elective courses are student choice
JLHS Counseling recommends one of the courses be a World Language
Students are asked to select alternate courses just in case their first and second choices are not available

JLHS Course Planner
This planner provides an outline of courses that a student can take to complete the necessary College A-G requirements to go college. Additionally, this planner outlines the ESUHSD diploma requirements.
