You get to explore adaptation + survival across planets.
Your Mission:
Study Earth Life
How do humans + animals adapt to heat, cold, water, mountains?
Choose a Planet
Mars? Jupiterās moon? Your own made-up world?
Invent an Alien
Draw/design how it survives (lungs? wings? super-eyes?).
Explain how the planet shaped its body + culture.
Create the Story
What happens when humans + aliens meet?
Write a treaty, a comic, or a story about first contact.
End Product: āAlien Survival Guideā or story.
Bonus: Stage a soccer match between aliens + humans.
š Teacher Guide
Objectives: Connect biological adaptation to imaginative design; compare/contrast human vs. alien survival strategies; produce creative artifact.
DOK/Bloomās: DOK 3 (analyze adaptations), DOK 4 (design aliens + narratives), Bloomās analyze/create.
Materials: Space/biology books, art supplies, LEGO/digital drawing tools.
Differentiation: Scaffold research with charts; extend for advanced learners by requiring alien economy/government.
Assessment: Alien design + reasoning for adaptations; creative final product.
