PreK-3 Leadership Academy

The NDE Office of Early Childhood is excited to announce the release of the application for the 4th cohort of Nebraska’s National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) Pre-K-3 Leadership Academy. We are hopeful that elementary principals and school leaders, in collaboration with local Head Start directors and/or community early childhood directors, can participate in this year-long professional learning community, beginning in May 2023, to better understand early childhood education and support closer alignment and transitions among programs within their local communities as well as between grade levels.  Visit our website to apply, find info on previous cohorts and answers to frequently asked questions: www.education.ne.gov/oec/nebraskas-naesp-prek-3-leadership-academy   Applications are due March 17th.

Allyson Apsey is joining us via Zoom for Principal Cadre on Feb 2 and visiting Scottsbluff on June 7-8!

Listen to her podcast with Andrew Easton! (Below, right)

And, YOU will be excited for this opportunity as well!!

After paras participate in the session, they complete a google evaluation form.  Once the form is complete, a certificate of participation is automatically generated and emailed to them.  They’re able to print the certificate at their convenience for their records.
