"When our EDN coordinator first told me about these meetings, I will admit that I was interested in the paid stipend and child care. For me, any extra money is welcome as there are always plenty of expenses with kids! However, I was happy to find out that I also learned about new resources for my kids and support that the PRT could provide parents and was very grateful that I chose to go! They also have financial support for parents/guardians who want to attend a conference or training in Nebraska, to  learn more about how to support their children. Especially as most of the group is made up of professionals, they really value parents’ input! Their goal is to meet the needs of families with children with special needs and we know those needs first-hand!"
