2022 Scholarship Criteria & Application

Club Estrella

Club Estrella is a non-profit social club founded in 1948 and based in Santa Clara County. The membership has consisted of over 150 men and women who proudly acknowledge their Hispanic heritage, while enjoying enriching friendships with one another.

Club Estrella has sponsored cultural events, fundraisers for those in need, and promotes education within the Hispanic community. The Club Estrella motto is “Fe, Amistad, Y Progreso” (Faith, Friendship, and Progress).

Education For All Children

Education For All Children is the fiscal arm for the Club Estrella Scholarship Program. The organization is a non-profit with a 501(c)3 status. The one and only objective is to raise funds and support for the Club Estrella Scholarship Program. All funds raised are specifically allocated directly to Club Estrella Scholarship award recipients.

The Scholarship

Who Can Apply

  • Hispanic students graduating from a high school or community college in Santa Clara County.

  • Applicants must plan to enroll in the upcoming Fall Term at a College or Community College.

  • Applicants must have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA.

  • Applicants must complete and submit the application online by May 27, 2022 OR by mail, postmarked by May 27, 2022.

Selection Criteria

Applicants will be considered based on the following criteria:

  • Financial need (if selected, verification of personal and family income will be required)

  • Autobiographical statement submitted with application

  • Overall academic achievement
