Retail in the Age of Global Uncertainty CONFERENCE
6-8 JUNE, 2024
ESSEC Business School hosted a conference related to the Journal of Retailing special issue entitled "Retail in the age of global uncertainty: The impact of the macro-environment on the retail space and vice versa" on June 6-8, 2024, in Paris. The editorial committee selected 21 papers. 38 scholars from all around the world came to the La Defense campus to attend the conference. The discussions were insightful and inspiring, which will foster innovative scholarly research on the evolving landscape of retailing. The networking events were successful since they built meaningful connections in a friendly atmosphere.

This Retailing Conference is meant to inspire cutting-edge scholarly research that examines the changing landscape of retailing in this age of global uncertainty. Questions can be studied from the perspective of consumers, retailers, brands, competitors, platforms, markets, or policymakers.
