“Climate change is the tragedy of the horizon.”
Mark Carney - Former governor of Bank of England and Chairman of the Financial Stability Board
Climate change represents a risk for humanity. The financial sector has been called to action by regulators and to reorient capital flows to a low carbon economy. Financial institutions need to assure that entire portfolios are aligned with the Paris Agreement to finance low carbon transition.
With the COP26 coming in November 2021, the ESSEC-Amundi Chair on Asset & Risk Management and the Shaping the Future of Finance Chair organize a workshop about how the financial industry is mobilizing to align with Paris Agreement targets.
