Benoît CHERVALIER is Executive Director of the Chair.
Benoît Chervalier is an investment banker and lecturer at ESSEC Business School in finance and on the financing of economies and businesses in Africa. He has more than 20 years of experience in negotiations and transactions with emerging and African countries in particular. In 2023, he was appointed Vice President Africa of MEDEF international and President of the Africa and financing Commission at Business Europe, the European Business Association.
Andrea Roncoroni is a Professor of Finance at ESSEC Business School (Paris) and Visiting Fellow at Bocconi University (Milan). He serves as Chairman of the Commodity and Energy Markets Association (CEMA) and as Director of the Energy and Commodity Finance (ECOMFIN) Research Center. His research work deals with stochastic modeling, risk management, and asset allocation, with a focus on nonfinancial firms and commodity markets. He published in Operations Research, J. Business, J. Banking & Finance, European J. Operational Research, and Energy Economics, among others.
Roméo Tédongap
Roméo Tédongap is a Professor of Finance and Dean at ESSEC Business School (Paris). He previously held academic positions at leading international institutions and has extensive experience in research and academic leadership.
His research focuses on asset pricing, macro-finance, sustainable finance, and international financial markets. His work has been published in leading academic journals in finance and economics, and he regularly presents at major international conferences.
In addition to his research activities, he is actively involved in strategic academic development and institutional partnerships, contributing to the global outreach and impact of ESSEC Business School.
