What a Commissioner for Oaths will do for you.
A Commissioner for Oaths in Malaysia is an official who has been authorized by Malaysian legal authorities to ensure that declarations such as affidavits , legal documents and other statutory declarations from an individual are verifiable and legally compliant. The Commissioner for Oaths verifies these documents for use in Malaysia. A Commissioner for Oaths is also empowered to administer an affirmation , oath or other declaration. It is important to note that , for use in a court in Malaysia or any other quasi-judicial agency or tribunal , your oath or affirmation can only be administered by a Commissioner for Oaths.
Perkhidmatan
(A) Mengendalikan sumpah untuk :
(i) justifikasi jaminan
(ii) mengambil apa-apa afidavit atau ikrar;
(iii) sumpah wasi dan pentabir; dan
(iv) mana-mana orang dalam apa-apa tindakan , perkara atau prosiding yang menunggu penyelesaian atau hampir hendak dimulakan dalam mana-mana mahkamah; dan
(B) mengambil dan menerima akuan berkanun
Services
(A) Administer oaths for :
(i) the justification for bail;
(ii) taking any affidavit or affirmation;
(iii) swearing executors and administrators; and
(iv) any persons in any action , matter or proceeding which is pending or about to be instituted in any courts; and
(B) taking and receiving statutory declarations.
