For buses you can’t buy tickets in advance, you always have to ask the bus driver for a ticket to your specific destination. With ISIC you can ask for students’ discount. In CP app you can check the price of the undiscounted bus ticket. You can pay for your ticket with cash or card.
After activating your ISIC card at the train station and getting an additional card, your train tickets are free. You still need to obtain the ticket! You can get the tickets on the train station or in the app Ideme vlakom.
Without ISIC you can check the price of your journey in the cp app the same way as with buses or in the app Ideme vlakom, where you can buy the tickets as well.
