Summer Reading RULES!
Read what you want this summer, and log your time
to earn cool prizes when we get back to school!
Here's how it works:
Read as much as you can! We suggest 20 minutes a day or more.
Read what YOU want! Picture books, graphic novels, how-to books, chapter books--all of these count towards summer reading.
Read by yourself, with a grown-up, brother, sister, friend, or pet. Ask grown-ups to read to you. Everyone likes being read to!
Get books from the East Syracuse Free Library to keep it fresh.
You need to log at least 100 minutes over the summer to earn your prizes in the fall. Prizes include:
A mystery prize!
A personalized bookmark with your name on it!
A free book from the fall Book Fair!
Log your time using ONE of the ways below (paper OR digital--choose one).
Have fun and read TONS!
Fill out this super quick Google Form every time you read this summer. No papers to keep track of! Pro tip: have a parent bookmark it on their phone!
