Rules

The theme of the competition is 'My culture through my eyes'.

The competition is open to all children in Primary school years 1-6 at FOBISIA member schools.

Artwork must be original and completed by one individual pupil, group submissions will not be accepted.

Digitally-created or 3D artwork is not allowed.

A maximum of two entries per school per year group are allowed. If more than two are received, the first two to be received will be entered into the competition unless the organisers are informed to discount previous submissions.

Submissions can be received up until Friday, February 24th 2023 at 16:00 (ULAT).

Artwork should be submitted using the Google form on the 'submit' page of this site.

All qualifying entries will be printed and displayed without reference to the school or artist in the school reception area at The English School of Mongolia from Monday, February 27th to Thursday, March 30th. All members of the host school's community will be encouraged to view the gallery and vote by placing a sticker next to their favourite piece.

In order for the community to fairly judge the artwork anonymously, please do not sign any art work.

Accepted submissions will also be displayed in a virtual gallery on this site throughout March 2023.

Winners will be announced on Friday, March 31st 2023.

1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded in each year group, based on the host school community vote. 

Overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded by the Head of Arts at ESM as well as special mentions by the school Director. These decisions are final.

All accepted entries receive a certificate of participation.

All certificates will be emailed to the relevant schools by Friday, April 7th 2023.
